This year I have intentions, not resolutions.

My mom sent me this video, and I thought this was a fantastic idea to try with my students. I absolutely love SMART goals, and my students work on goal setting literally every single day. Rather than set new goals for the year, we’ll continue tracking and revising our current goals. We’ll reflect on our best moments of 2016, and we’ll set intentions for 2017.

We will choose meaningful words that we want to embody in 2017, and share our intention to be our best selves.
